As the first full season since 2019, the 2022 fishing season was a long-awaited success! And with the removal of the COVID-19 vaccine requirement to enter Canada, we expect an even fuller 2023! More on that in a minute...

SUCCESSFUL BEAR HUNTS
Austin Steeves, Daniel Bell and Tristan Nugent, all firefighters for Texas's Mansfield Fire Department, harvested black bears on the first night of the hunt. Kara cooked up mouth-watering black bear Philly cheesesteaks for the hunters. The firefighters also donated meat for a camp-wide dinner of black bear carnitas, which Kara prepared while a couple other groups baked freshly-picked Canadian blueberry cobbler for the whole group!
After the three hunters filled their tags, Kara began her hunt, which also resulted in a nice bear.
