Yellow

perch

Fun fishin’, fun eatin’

Big Sandy Lake anglers love to happen upon a yellow perch for a fun change-up in fishing experiences. If you hook up with one, you’ll likely catch a lot more! Pop them out of the water one after the other and stock up for a fish fry. If you like the white, sweet meat of crappie, you’ll love the yellow perch.

The perch in our lake are called “Jumbos” because 11 to 14-inchers are common.
