The lodge functions as Pine Cliff’s office, tackle shop and your host family’s living quarters during the fishing season.
You’ll arrive at the lodge for check-in and orientation, where we’ll share all the current fishing tips and hot spots, go over a map of the lake and review boater safety information. After showing you to your cabin and reviewing your boat equipment and operations at the dock, you’ll be well on your way to a relaxing week of vacation and trophy fishing in your new home-away-from-home.
Pour a hot cup of coffee, watch the sunrise, get out on the water for a full day of fishing and come back home to relax and enjoy the remote wilderness from the comfort of your cabin. Cozy log cabins with modern amenities.

What about wifi & cell service?
When we say remote, we mean remote. We love life up here in the Middle-of-Nowhere, Ontario, to escape the hustle of everyday life and the pressure to always be accessible. That being said, we understand the need to check emails and communicate with family back home. While there is no cell service at Pine Cliff, we have a payphone at the lodge that you are welcome to use. We’ll provide a phone card for you to make calls when needed. WiFi is also available from the lodge deck.
Nicest, cleanest boats in Ontario fishing lodges. NO Upgrade fees!
All fishing packages include new 20-foot Xpress boats, loaded with top-of-the-line equipment: trolling motors, depth finders (at the center console and the bow), motorized anchors and large casting decks, to name a few. Most Canadian fishing lodges charge an extra $150 per day for a boat of lesser caliber.
Guests receive boating and equipment training to ensure all anglers (well-seasoned or first-timers) are comfortable operating the boat.
absolutely the best boats
“They have absolutely the best boats I have ever seen at a Canadian fishing lodge.”
For your convenience, our tackle shop is stocked with the most popular lures and tackle, specific to our lake and fish species. No worries if you forget your favorites at home or if monster pike keep snatching your best lures! Aggressive pike tend to bend hooks and make lures look unrecognizable. So, to keep you on the water (and off the road into town, costing you valuable fishing time), we keep the good stuff on-hand.
fish cleaning house
Ready for a fish fry? Or want to pack up a few fillets to take back home? Use our fish cleaning house, conveniently located right by the dock. We provide bags and instructions for packaging fish to ensure compliance with the Ministry of Natural Resources for a safe border crossing.
